It was a very important time in my life and your father generously provided heaps of advice and his time.  Interestingly, amongst it all one phrase, two simple words, turned out to be a gift that ultimately shaped my future:

“Suspend Disbelief“

What a simple, interesting, yet incredibly powerful thought.  Very typical of your father’s ability to see the world at times in ways that others don’t.
