First off, Happy Birthday! We hope you are able to plan another wonderful trip in honor of your 70th. Travel is one thing that comes to mind when we think of you. Thanks for forcing Karen to get outside her comfort zone for so many years and setting such a great example as you plan amazing travel adventures with your boys.

 We have both enjoyed and learned from your example in selecting and creating such amazing homes with the best views! We have also loved the many opportunities to visit Martha’s Vineyard, ride around in Long Daddy, captain the boat, meet your interesting friends and eat the wonderful smoked fish from Larsen’s! It was always fun seeing you wander through flea markets with your big straw hat, cargo vest and brightly colored Croc’s!

 Thanks for always being there to advise us on all the many things you know about! We also know that you are there for support if we ever need you. Most importantly, thanks for being there for Karen. She could not have picked a better partner to take care of her over the years. Little did we know what an important role you would play in her recovery.

Here’s to many more productive, fun, creative and stimulating years! We look forward to your continued example.
